Data you choose to add
You may add receipt images or PDFs, merchant and product details, prices, purchase dates, policy-source links, issue descriptions, evidence status, and request drafts. These items are stored locally on your device. Receipt text recognition runs on the device using Apple Vision.
Camera, files, photos, and sharing
Camera access is requested only when you choose to photograph a receipt. The system photo picker and document picker provide only the item you select. The Share Extension accepts one image or PDF that you explicitly share and places it in the Rights Window App Group container for review in the main app.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Rights Window schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder content is not sent to a Rights Window server.
External links and sharing
Policy-source links open the destination you choose. After reviewing a draft, you may use the iOS system share sheet. The receiving app or service applies its own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. You can delete one purchase and its related receipt, reminders, and draft cases, or delete all local Rights Window data from Settings.
Children
Rights Window is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13.
